Google Plans More Than 1 GW of Clean-Energy Capacity in Malaysia

On 4 November, Google announced a planned US$15 billion investment in Malaysia for 2027–2028, covering data-centre campuses, clean-energy initiatives and water security. The company plans to support more than 1 GW of clean-energy capacity, although no separate investment amount was disclosed for the environmental projects.
